Portraits for The Stranger
2016-2020
One of the great things about working at The Stranger was that I always had an opportunity to photograph. In this section, you’ll see that during the great website overhaul of 20-whatever, I was tasked with photographing the entire staff for their bios. These images were then plopped up against some flattering colored backgrounds and paired with their writer bios (online), or with funny—and often rude—quotes about them that we ripped from the comments section of our blog (print). I also had the pleasure to photograph our new publisher for a congratulatory piece on her promotion, as well as a few other pieces for print.
